Automation and IoT in biodiesel production processes: systematic review

Abstract

This work presents the realization of a Systematic Literature Review (RSL), on the production of biodiesel using automation and IoT. To produce this work in the correct way, a methodical pattern was used to search the works and summarize them, starting with the definition of the search string, in order to cover as many published articles as possible. Then, the StArt program was used to perform the separation and evaluation of the selected articles, to constitute this RSL. After these steps, the articles were read and summarized, which helped to find the main information about the subject studied. Finally, important information was obtained about the works related to the production of biodiesel in an automated way, providing an overview so that new works can be developed. In this way, the present work aims to carry out studies regarding the articles and works published in the years 2017 to 2021, related to the production of biodiesel with the use of automation and internet of things (IoT), in the stages of the production process, thus allowing the obtaining of the state of the art regarding the subject studied.
