Abstract

The objective of this work is to present a set of works published between the years 2017 and 2021 on the use of residual frying oil for the production of biodiesel, where it is possible to carry out an analysis of the technologies developed in that period. For this, a search was carried out in the IEEE, Scielo, Science Direct, Scopus and Web of Science databases, where 582 published articles were found from the search string to select works considering theme, year of publication. To summarize the results, the Start software was used, where selection criteria were applied to choose the articles to be used in the review. After the execution of the selection steps of the works in the software, 28 articles were selected for the Systematic Review, where, of these 28 selected articles, the work methods and the results obtained by the authors are presented, allowing an analysis of the technologies researched during the period of study.
