In Brazil, the COVID-19 pandemic occurred simultaneously with the arbovirus epidemic, including Chikungunya, in view of this, the objective of the research is to investigate in the literature what happened to Chikungunya patients during the COVID-19 pandemic. Through articles available in national and international databases such as the CAPES portal, Medline/Pub Med (Online System for Research and Analysis of Medical Literature) and Lilacs (Latin American and Caribbean literature on health sciences). Through variations of the following descriptors: COVID-19; Chikungunya; Arbovirus and Virose, in Portuguese and English with the period of publication of the articles from 2020 to 2022. Were analyzed carefully 7 articles that met the subject studied, presenting as results the difficulty imposed by the COVID-19 pandemic on arboviral diseases, thus compromising the dynamics used in the identification and management of these cases. It is concluded that notifications of Chikungunya cases were affected by the scenario of the COVID-19 pandemic.
