Objective: To report the experience of elaborating and disseminating a booklet with guidelines for the management of onco-hematologic patients in the face of the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic in the context of hematopoietic stem cell transplantation (HSCT). Methods: This is an experience report with a descriptive approach. The booklet was developed in April 2020, through research of materials in databases, websites, journals, among others. Results: A booklet was prepared in a systematic and didactic way, with the objective of facilitating access to the understanding of the numerous information about COVID-19 for onco-hematological patients, bone marrow donors and health professionals who work in the scope of HSCT. Final considerations: The construction of the booklet expanded the training process of academics of the courses in the health area linked to the extension project, in addition to stimulating the development of skills and competences for research and construction of didactic material for health education.
