Satisfação e saúde sexual da população brasileira: impactos da pandemia da COVID-19

Resumo

O presente estudo investigou os fatores associados ao impacto negativo da pandemia da COVID19 sobre a vida sexual da população brasileira. Foi realizado um estudo transversal com a população brasileira adulta e sexualmente ativa, utilizando uma pesquisa online. 807 adultos completaram questionários sobre informações socioeconômicas, vida sexual, aspectos emocionais e aspectos do sono durante o período de distanciamento social. A percepção de uma vida sexual satisfatória diminuiu mais de 20% durante a pandemia em comparação com antes da quarentena além que 73,4% das pessoas sentiram dor ou desconforto durante ou após o ato sexual. Os aspectos relacionados ao sono também tiveram um impacto negativo na vida sexual onde 79,1 % tiveram mudanças no padrão do sono e a dificuldade para adormecer ou acordar durante a noite com dificuldade para voltar a dormir representaram fatores de risco para ter a vida sexual afetada. A percepção da vida sexual dos indivíduos brasileiros foi afetada pelo distanciamento social durante a pandemia de COVID-19.
