Toxicidad dermatológica asociada con el uso de quimioterapias: síndrome de mano-pie un enfoque integrativo

Resumen

El objetivo fue identificar el desarrollo del Síndrome Mano-Pie en la literatura, como efecto adverso del uso de quimioterapia. Revisión integrativa realizada en las bases de datos LILACS, BDENF, PubMed y ScienceDirect, en portugués, inglés y español. Los ensayos clínicos publicados con un período de tiempo de 2016 a 2021 centrados en la audiencia adulta fueron seleccionados y segregados en dos temas. La información se tabuló en el programa Microsoft Excel® 2010 y se procesó con base en la estrategia: media aritmética descriptiva simple, frecuencia absoluta y relativa. Se encontraron un total de 559 artículos, luego de aplicar los criterios de inclusión y exclusión, se eligieron 20 estudios para componer la muestra final. La clase farmacológica más enumerada como potenciador de la SMP fueron las fluoropirimidinas (80%). A través de las manifestaciones clínicas que presenta el síndrome, los impactos negativos perpetúan la rutina de los pacientes, ya que se compromete el desempeño de las actividades de la vida diaria, para minimizar el daño causado por esta condición, se destacaron los métodos terapéuticos, estos se aplican para reducir los grados de el síndrome y una mejor calidad de vida. En resumen, es claro que el uso de quimioterapia aumenta la supervivencia global y libre de enfermedad, sin embargo provoca algunas reacciones adversas recurrentes, entre ellas el Síndrome Mano-Pie, sus manifestaciones no ponen en riesgo la vida, pero las limitaciones desencadenadas infieren daños a la el autocuidado y la calidad de vida se vuelven insatisfactorios.
