La influencia de la microbiota intestinal en el desarrollo de alergias alimentarias en los niños

Resumen

La microbiota intestinal formada, principalmente en la vida temprana, juega un papel crucial en el desarrollo del sistema inmunológico y la tolerancia a los alimentos. La disbiosis, que significa un aumento exagerado de bacterias patobiontes, genera un desequilibrio e inflamación en la microbiota intestinal, afectando su función. Por ello, hubo interés en evaluar la influencia de la microbiota en el desarrollo de la alergia alimentaria en niños, analizando la interferencia de la disbiosis en el sistema inmunológico, por el método de revisión integradora en los últimos 10 años, ya que hay un incremento en la prevalencia de alergias alimentarias en niños en la última década. Esta investigación se caracteriza por ser una revisión integradora de la literatura, en la que se analizaron los artículos publicados en los últimos 10 años, seleccionados a través de los criterios de inclusión. Se basa en el tema "La influencia de la microbiota en el desarrollo de la alergia alimentaria en los niños". Se buscó como prioridad para el estudio la literatura publicada en inglés, portugués y español. La microbiota intestinal está directamente relacionada con el sistema inmunológico, siendo el mal funcionamiento de uno seguido el desequilibrio del otro. Así, la composición de una microbiota intestinal integral y funcional contribuye a un sistema inmunológico más resistente y, por tanto, puede conducir a una mayor tolerancia a las alergias alimentarias. Sin embargo, concluimos que la disbiosis es más propensa a la aparición de alergias. A pesar de la contribución genética, los factores ambientales e higiénicos contribuyen a la aparición de alergia alimentaria.
