Se ha demostrado que los aditivos fitogénicos actúan como un sustituto de los antibióticos debido a su funcionalidad para romper las membranas bacterianas, siendo efectivos en la lucha contra los microorganismos y actuando como antioxidantes. Utilizado de manera estratégica, en la promoción de la acción, favorecerá principalmente la condición intestinal, aumentando las ganancias zootécnicas y aumentando la prevención de patologías asociadas con bacterias u hongos. Por lo tanto, nos propusimos opinión es la búsqueda de información científica sobre lo que los aditivos fitogénicos, su composición y modo de acción y la aplicabilidad de los resultados obtenidos por su uso en los cortes de energía de pollo. Para esta revisión, se realizó un análisis de estudios científicos que estudiaron cuáles son los principales aditivos y sus principios activos, así como su modo de acción de los aceites esenciales y qué plantas tienen el potencial de ser utilizados como aditivos fitogénicos, lo que evidencia sus efectos en los alimentos. de pollos de engorde. Se concluye que el uso de los activos fitogénicos en forma de aceites esenciales puede ser utilizado en la alimentación de pollos, que proporciona mejoras en la salud intestinal de las aves y, por consiguiente, mejora en su rendimiento productivo. Incluso se demostraron, sus puntos buenos, algunas condiciones todavía necesitan ser aclarado, como la dosis / acción y asociación de los diversos ingredientes activos que pertenecen a los aditivos fitogénicos, que pueden proporcionar varios estudios nuevos.
