Violencia infantil y agotamiento de los padres en la pandemia de COVID-19: una revisión

Resumen

Esta es una revisión integradora que discute cómo el Burnout parental en el contexto de pandemia de COVID-19 puede estar relacionado con el maltrato infantil. La búsqueda se realizó en PubMed, SciELO, Web of Science, PsycINFO, CINAHL, LILACS y Google Scholar, utilizando los descriptores “violencia infantil”, “agotamiento psicológico”, COVID-19, Enseñanza en Salud y términos relacionados, junto con los operadores booleanos. Los once artículos seleccionados tratan temas como: las familias en la pandemia del COVID-19; impactos de COVID-19 y abuso infantil y aislamiento social de los padres y; riesgo de maltrato infantil durante la pandemia de COVID-19. Durante la pandemia, el estrés de los padres, que es la principal causa del Burnout, aumentó significativamente debido al disminución del ocio, el aumento de la carga de trabajo y las responsabilidades hacia la familia, lo que puede traer consecuencias como violencia infantil.
