Sinergia de la metodología Lean Manufacturing en el contexto de la Industria 4.0: Una revisión integradora

Resumen

Los métodos de manufactura esbelta son utilizados por industrias que buscan mejorar su competitividad a través de la flexibilidad, la reducción de costos, la mejora de la calidad del producto y la satisfacción del cliente. Aún así, el nivel de complejidad y demanda en la industria manufacturera se está expandiendo rápidamente, intensificando los problemas organizacionales. La Industria 4.0 emplea sistemáticamente soluciones tecnológicas de última generación, a diferencia del Lean Manufacturing, que se basa firmemente en el factor humano. Con un enfoque cualitativo, este estudio tiene como objetivo explorar los aspectos sinérgicos entre Lean Manufacturing e Industria 4.0 en una revisión integradora. Las búsquedas se realizaron en las siguientes bases de datos: Web of Science, Scopus, Science Direct e IEEE, totalizando 552 artículos, de los cuales 19 fueron seleccionados tras aplicar los criterios de inclusión y exclusión. Los resultados muestran que las tecnologías que más se destacaron en la Industria 4.0 con Lean Manufacturing son Internet de las Cosas, Big Data y Cyber-Fysical Systems, haciendo que los procesos sean más rápidos y eficientes al integrarlos. Un tema identificado en dos estudios fue la presencia del líder Lean, que tiene habilidades de gestión Lean y es reconocido como un factor crítico para la implementación de la Industria 4.0, ya que requiere una visión amplia del proceso organizacional y la aplicación de herramientas Lean.
