Resumen

Por lo tanto, es fundamental realizar nuevos estudios sobre los efectos de MPS y NPS en humanos, debido a su alta cobertura a escala mundial y al reporte de que, si bien son pocos los estudios realizados recientemente, presentan cuadros alarmantes sobre la acción. efectos nocivos de estos compuestos para los seres humanos. Se encuentran en casi todas partes, incluyendo agua de mar, comida y aire. Así, considerando las formas de contacto humano como el consumo mismo o la respiración y los efectos biológicos, químicos y físicos de esos fragmentos, se hace necesario discutir la relevancia y los posibles efectos de este material en los cuerpos de los individuos. Por lo tanto, este estudio se propone comprender la posible relación entre los efectos nocivos para el cuerpo causados por el contacto con tales fragmentos de plástico, observando sus efectos. Utilizando la revisión integrativa exploratoria de la literatura, se utilizaron 22 artículos, siendo ocho artículos excluidos por incumplimiento de los criterios de inclusión. El consumo de MPS y NPS puede inducir efectos nocivos en los organismos ya sea a través de fenómenos físicos, químicos o biológicos. En el primero, existe una asociación con barreras físicas que inducen procesos inflamatorios. El rol biológico aborda la asociación de los Microplásticos (MPS) con algunos seres posiblemente patógenos para los humanos. Finalmente, el papel químico relacionado con el fenómeno de adsorción de sustancias nocivas resulta ser un generador de posibles daños. Por lo tanto, es fundamental realizar nuevos estudios sobre los efectos de MPS y NPS en humanos, debido a su alta cobertura a escala mundial y al reporte de que, si bien son pocos los estudios realizados recientemente, presentan cuadros alarmantes sobre la acción. efectos nocivos de estos compuestos para los humanos.
