Cuál es la evidencia científica sobre el teletrabajo y el COVID-19 en el aparato locomotor: una revisión sistemática

Resumen

Este estudio tiene como objetivo recopilar y analizar evidencia sobre los cambios del trabajo de oficina en casa en el sistema musculoesquelético durante la pandemia de COVID-19. Esta es una revisión sistemática de la literatura que fue realizada por el Manual Cochrane para Revisiones Sistemáticas de Intervenciones y reportada de acuerdo con la declaración Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Reviews and Meta-Analyses (PRISMA), realizada en las bases de datos PubMed, Scopus, Biblioteca Virtual en Salud (BVS), Web of Science y Science Direct. La pregunta de investigación fue: ¿Cuáles son las repercusiones del teletrabajo en la pandemia de COVID-19 en el sistema musculoesquelético? Se encontraron un total de 16 estudios y después del análisis, cinco estudios se incluyeron en este trabajo. Entre los estudios analizados, se observó que las repercusiones del teletrabajo en la pandemia de COVID-19 en el sistema musculoesquelético, sus mayores ocurrencias de síntomas musculoesqueléticos fueron en las siguientes regiones del cuerpo: dolor en la espalda, cuello, hombro y manos y en el sexo femenino. Sugiere que se necesitan nuevos estudios futuros con un mejor nivel de calidad de evidencia para identificar los resultados y fortalecer las investigaciones sobre el tema en cuestión.
