Intervenciones terapéuticas ocupacionales para las Actividades de la Vida Diaria en Cuidado Paliativos oncológicos: revisión integrativa

Resumen

Objetivo: analizar las intervenciones de Terapia Ocupacional para mejorar la participación en las Actividades de la Vida Diaria de pacientes en Cuidados Paliativos oncológicos. Metodología: revisión integrativa, con análisis por estadística descriptiva. Los resultados fueron discutidos en las categorías: “aspectos evaluados”, “problemas identificados” e “intervenciones propuestas”, con base en la Clasificación Internacional de Funcionamiento, de la Discapacidad y de la Salud. Resultados: Los aspectos evaluados incluyeron las habilidades requeridas y la calidad de la participación. Los problemas más frecuentes fueron las restricciones a la participación, las deficiencias corporales y las barreras ambientales. Las intervenciones de Terapia Ocupacional fueron la recuperación y compensación de funciones físicas y cognitivas, y control de síntomas; fomento de la participación, cambio de rutina, hábitos y adaptaciones ambientales. Conclusión: las intervenciones de Terapia Ocupacional se centraron en la participación en las Actividades de la Vida Diaria durante todas las etapas de la enfermedad, a través de la recuperación de las funciones corporales o la adaptación de la estructura de la actividad y los factores contextuales. Consideraciones finales: esta revisión agrega a la producción en Cuidados Paliativos un perfil de intervenciones para mantener la participación y autonomía de los pacientes, objetivo principal de este abordaje, además de fortalecer la relevancia de la Terapia Ocupacional en los equipos de salud.

Graduada em Terapia Ocupacional pela Universidade Federal do Rio de Janeiro, especialização/residência em Saúde com ênfase em Clínica Médica (UFRJ) e em Cuidados Paliativos (Instituto COI/ Americas). Mestranda em Ciências do Cuidado em Saúde (Universidade Federal Fluminense). Tem experiência e produção científica em Contextos Hospitalares de alta complexidade, Cuidados Paliativos, cuidados de transição e reabilitação neurológica e cognitiva. Vice-coordenadora do comitê de Terapia Ocupacional da Academia Nacional de Cuidados Paliativos.

Patrícia dos Santos Claro Fuly, Universidade Federal Fluminense

Graduada em Enfermagem pela Universidade Federal Fluminense (2000), mestrado em Engenharia Biomédica pela Universidade Federal do Rio de Janeiro (2004) e doutorado em Enfermagem pela Escola de Enfermagem Anna Nery da Universidade Federal do Rio de Janeiro (2009). Tem pós-doutorado pela Escola de Enfermagem da USP (2014), com financiamento CNPq. Atualmente é docente da Escola de Enfermagem Aurora de Afonso Costa da Universidade Federal Fluminense (EEAAC/UFF), onde atua como Professora Associado II na graduação, nas disciplinas Enfermagem na Saúde do Adulto e Idoso I, Estudos em Oncologia e Introdução à Metodologia da Pesquisa. Professora permanente/orientadora de Mestrado e Doutorado no Programa de Pós-Graduação em Ciências do Cuidado em Saúde. Vice-líder do Grupo Interdisciplinar de Estudos e Pesquisas em Oncologia. Tem experiência na área de Enfermagem e suas pesquisas se concentram principalmente nos seguintes temas: Construção de tecnologias para o cuidado sistematizado, Enfermagem baseada em evidências, Enfermagem oncológica, Cuidados Paliativos e Gerenciamento em Enfermagem.

Janaína Santos Nascimento, Universidade Federal do Rio de Janeiro

Graduada em Terapia Ocupacional pela Universidade Federal do Triângulo Mineiro (UFTM); especialização/residência em Saúde com ênfase em Clínica Médica (HUCFF/UFRJ) em Cuidados Paliativos. Mestrado em Atenção à Saúde pela UFTM e doutorado em Ciências Médicas pela UERJ. Membro do comitê de Terapia Ocupacional da Academia Nacional de Cuidados Paliativos e pesquisadora dos Laboratórios de Envelhecimento Humano e de Tecnologia Assistiva. Tem experiência profissional em: contextos hospitalares de alta complexidade; cuidados paliativos; cuidados de transição; reabilitação cognitiva funcional; atenção aos cuidadores formais e informais de idosos. Atualmente é professora adjunta do Departamento de Terapia Ocupacional da UFRJ e Chefe do Serviço de Terapia Ocupacional do HUCFF-UFRJ. Membro do Comitê de Ética em Pesquisa do HUCFF/UFRJ.
