Contenidos sugeridos para la enseñanza de la anatomía comparada de los tegumentos de los vertebrados

El sistema tegumentario se refiere principalmente a la superficie que recubre a los seres vivos e incluye órganos como la piel y estructuras como uñas, pelo, pelaje, plumas, garras, escamas. Es responsable de la protección contra microorganismos, pérdida de agua, radiación; Tiene función termorreguladora y de secreción de sudor y sebo. Sin embargo, debido a los problemas vinculados a la enseñanza de la anatomía comparada en Brasil, causados por la escasez de libros de texto con enfoque didáctico y dirigidos a las estructuras y sus fisiologías, el aprendizaje se vuelve cada vez más limitado y desactualizado. Por lo tanto, el objetivo de este artículo es indicar un camino morfofisiológico para la enseñanza del tema Tegumento para la disciplina de Anatomía Comparada para Ciencias Biológicas, principalmente, pero que puede ser utilizado para Medicina Veterinaria, Zootecnia y Agronomía. De hecho, la enseñanza del tegumento para vertebrados mediante disección puede suponer un avance didáctico de los contenidos, comenzando por la microscopía/estructura del tegumento, continuando con los phyla, y, posteriormente, el estudio de estructuras más complejas y especiales como glándulas y apéndices.
