El uso de la impresión tridimensional en la enseñanza y aprendizaje de la Anatomía Humana: Una revisión bibliográfica integradora

Resumen

El estudio de la Anatomía Humana ha experimentado innumerables cambios a lo largo del tiempo. Los métodos de enseñanza tradicionales, como el estudio de cadáveres, han tenido sus limitaciones, y la producción de modelos anatómicos mediante impresión tridimensional (3D) ha proporcionado una solución innovadora para su uso en las prácticas docentes. El objetivo del presente estudio era analizar la posibilidad de aplicar la impresión tridimensional a la enseñanza y el aprendizaje de la Anatomía Humana en las facultades de medicina. Se realizó un análisis descriptivo, basado en una revisión bibliográfica integradora de estudios publicados entre 2013 y 2022, utilizando los términos (DeCS/MeSH): "Three-Dimensional Printing", "Medical Education" y "Anatomy", aplicados en inglés y sus correspondientes en español y portugués. La impresión 3D es una herramienta importante para el estudio de la Anatomía Humana, permitiendo una mejor identificación de los puntos anatómicos en los diferentes sistemas, proporcionando una mayor retención a largo plazo de la información estudiada y mejorando el aprendizaje anatómico, en conjunto con otros materiales impresos y virtuales, partes cadavéricas y realidad virtual aumentada. Se hace hincapié en la importancia de invertir en el uso de la impresión 3D en los enfoques educativos y explorar posibles mejoras en la educación médica.
