Betaglucano como agente inmunomodulador en niños: Una revisión integradora

Resumen

El betaglucano es un polímero presente en la pared celular de varios compuestos. Su estructura es capaz de interactuar con las células de defensa del organismo, estimulándolas. Las propiedades inmunomoduladoras de este polímero se han estudiado durante muchos años. Objetivo: Este trabajo tuvo como objetivo establecer una asociación positiva entre el uso de Betaglucano y una mayor inmunidad en niños. Metodología: Se realizó una revisión integradora en las principales bases de datos en línea. Consideraciones finales: varios estudios han señalado al Betaglucano como un posible inmunomodulador en niños, lo cual es una realidad, de fácil acceso y bajo costo.
