Adherencia al tratamiento antirretroviral: Revisión del alcance

Introducción: En Terapia Antirretroviral, la adherencia al tratamiento farmacoterapéutico propuesto es de fundamental importancia para garantizar la supresión viral del VIH, aumentando la longevidad y garantizando la calidad de vida de las personas que viven con VIH/SIDA. Objetivo: Mapear los principales factores que influyen en la adherencia al tratamiento farmacoterapéutico para el VIH/SIDA; así como las estrategias utilizadas para lograr la adherencia. Metodología: Revisión de alcance guiada por la sigla PCC en la que: Participantes: personas que viven con VIH/SIDA; Concepto: incumplimiento de la Terapia Antirretroviral; Contexto: Servicios de salud Resultados: Se recuperaron 15 artículos que demuestran las razones más comunes de no adherencia y la importancia de utilizar estrategias para mejorar la adherencia. Conclusión: Se encontró evidencia de que el uso de estrategias de adherencia a la Terapia Antirretroviral es efectivo en el tratamiento farmacoterapéutico del VIH/SIDA.
