Una revisión sistemática sobre las limitaciones del cambio al aprendizaje virtual en los establecimientos de educación superior durante la COVID-19 en los países en desarrollo

Resumen

Esta revisión de la literatura tiene como objetivo abordar la transición al aprendizaje a distancia en línea durante la pandemia de la enfermedad del coronavirus (COVID-19) en las instituciones de educación superior (IES) de los países subdesarrollados. Los límites y las posibilidades potenciales identificados por la metodología de revisión sistemática se utilizaron para orientar las prácticas futuras en el aprendizaje a distancia en línea. Los resultados destacan una serie de inconvenientes, entre ellos la desigualdad digital, la conectividad a Internet inconsistente, la falta de competencia y preparación tecnológica entre profesores y alumnos, y la escasez de soluciones digitales. Los resultados también muestran que la mayoría de los estudiantes tenían dificultades sociales y emocionales como resultado de su cambio rápido y descuidado al aprendizaje a distancia en línea. Se determinó que, incluso antes de la epidemia de COVID-19, la mayoría de las restricciones se debían a una deficiencia de la cultura digital. Otras posibles áreas de investigación recomendadas en este documento incluyen la exploración de la inclusión digital entre los grupos marginados de los países en desarrollo.
