Aspectos nutricionais da gordura láctea: Uma revisão dos benefícios comprovados do seu consumo para a saúde humana

Resumo

Os lipídeos exercem um papel fundamental para o ser humano, sendo um macronutriente transportado por lipoproteínas dentro do organismo. A cada dia mais cresce o aparecimento das doenças crônicas não transmissíveis, sendo uma das principais causas de morbidade, incapacidade e mortalidade nas sociedades ocidentais. Durante muito tempo este macronutriente foi associado ao desenvolvimento e progressão de tais doenças. O objetivo deste trabalho é buscar um copilado da literatura sobre os benefícios dos componentes individuais das gorduras lácteas para a saúde humana. Pode-se concluir com os trabalhos relatados que a cada dia mais há um consenso de que as gorduras lácteas são de grande complexidade no que diz respeito à sua composição possuindo alto valor nutricional e bioatividade podendo ainda ajudar na perda de peso e na prevenção de uma série de doenças como cânceres, síndrome metabólica, propriedades antidiabéticas, modulação da microbiota intestinal, hipertensão, obesidade, prevenção de alergias e asmas dentre outras.
