O uso da endodontia guiada para remoção de pino de fibra de vidro: relato de caso clínico

Resumo

A utilização da guia endodôntica, é uma técnica minimamente invasiva, indicada para tratamento de canais calcificados, retomada da trajetória original do canal, nos casos de desvio e/ou perfuração, remoção de pino de fibra de vidro e até mesmo, cirurgia parendodôntica guiada. A utilização da guia endodôntica atualmente apresenta boa previsibilidade, segurança e rapidez no tratamento de casos complexos, na qual será indicada. A técnica é tão precisa que independe do operador e pode ser executada por profissionais até mesmo menos capacitados. O objetivo desse trabalho foi relatar um caso clínico de remoção de pino de fibra de vidro no elemento 11, devido a um insucesso no tratamento protético, utilizando uma guia endodôntica (endoguide).

Hebertt Gonzaga dos Santos Chaves, Universidade Federal de Minas Gerais

Cirurgião-dentista, especialista e mestrando em Endodontia pela Faculdade de Odontologia da Universidade Federal de Minas Gerais (UFMG). 

Atua na linha de pesquisa: Imunopatologia e microbiologia das doenças bucais. Sua linha de investigação principalmente sobre os seguintes temas: Biocompatibilidade dos tecidos biomateriais, respostas imunológicas e microbiológica nos tecidos pulpar e periapical, capeamento pulpar, pulpotomia, resposta pulpar e intracanal.
