Tratamento restaurador atraumático em dentes permanentes: uma revisão integrativa da literatura

Introdução: A Odontologia de Mínima Intervenção (MI) é uma filosofia de tratamento que considera o manuseio de lesões cariosas com técnicas conservadoras. Entre elas o Tratamento Restaurador Atraumático (ART). Esta pesquisa buscou revisar a literatura acerca da longevidade do ART com cimento de ionômero de vidro de alta viscosidade. Metodologia: Trata-se de um estudo de revisão integrativa da literatura em que os dados foram coletados a partir de estudos primários, por meio de análise sistemática qualitativa, seguindo os parâmetros do PRISMA. A partir da pergunta norteadora: “Qual é a longevidade das restaurações atraumáticas em dentes permanentes?” por meio dos critérios PICO, utilizando a base de dados PubMed. Resultados: Coleta de artigos, extração de dados. Foram selecionados 12 artigos entre os anos de 2005 e 2020 que se enquadraram ao tema. Países como Brasil e China foram os mais participativos. Foram encontrados resultados favoráveis quanto a utilização da técnica ART, em que o CIVAV apresentou resultados comparáveis à RC e superiores aos CIVs convencionais num período de acompanhamento de 1-5 anos. As marcas mais utilizadas nos estudos foram Maxion, Fuji II, Vitremer e Filtek. Uma das principais causas de falha foram perda do material/desgaste. Conclusão: foi possível concluir que apesar da heterogeneidade (quanto à melhor técnica e melhor material a ser utilizado), a ART possui bons resultados comparados a técnica convencional, não apresentando grandes diferenças significativas, e o CIVAV se equipara em sobrevida e sucesso à RC. Entretanto, a substituição pelos CIVs convencionais não assegura os mesmos resultados.
