Osteomielite mandibular crônica não superpurativa: relato de caso

A osteomielite (OM) é considerada uma das condições médicas mais desafiadoras para os cirurgiões. Nos últimos 50 anos, o número de casos de OM maxilar diminuiu devido à melhoria da higiene oral, no entanto, sua complicação ainda é relevante. O objetivo deste trabalho é apresentar um relato de caso de um paciente com osteomielite mandibular e analisar a literatura relativa a esta condição.
