Resumo

A Internet dos Corpos (IoB – Internet of Bodies) representa a convergência entre as tecnologias digitais e dispositivos adicionados ao corpo de forma externa, interna ou implantados, configurando uma nova fronteira no monitoramento, diagnóstico e intervenções na saúde. Neste estudo temos por objetivo analisar os fundamentos da IoB, suas aplicações atuais e futuras, os riscos de ataques cibernéticos associados à privacidade e segurança de dados, e possíveis dilemas éticos. O artigo baseia-se em estudos recentes que tratam da implementação de dispositivos corporais nos contextos clínicos, de bem-estar e de vigilância biométrica. Os resultados apontam para a necessidade de um debate bioético além de regulamentações.
