Acidez total em petróleos: uma análise Bibliométrica

O declínio de reservas convencionais de petróleo tem levado a exploração de óleos ácidos. Porém, seus componentes ácidos são de grande preocupação para a indústria, devido sua corrosividade e valor de mercado depreciado. O índice internacionalmente aceito que determina a acidez no óleo cru é o número de acidez total (NAT), entretanto possui confiabilidade questionada. Assim, o presente estudo teve como objetivo principal realizar uma revisão bibliométrica sobre o tema, de forma a mapear literatura pertinente e averiguar quais são os estudos, países e autores com maior relevância científica e academicamente. A base de dados utilizada para revisão bibliométrica foi a Web of Science®(WoS). A partir dos resultados de pesquisa, foi construído um banco de artigos, observando-se um grande número de publicações sobre caracterização de ácidos naftênicos, determinação da acidez e extração de compostos ácidos do petróleo. Isso evidencia a relevância da pesquisa sobre petróleos ácidos, além disso, a frequente tentativa de propor novos métodos para sua determinação indica que ainda há campo de pesquisa a ser explorado.
