Conhecendo os impactos da pandemia de COVID-19 na saúde mental dos trabalhadores de enfermagem

A presente revisão integrativa teve como objetivo conhecer a produção científica sobre os impactos da pandemia de COVID-19 na saúde mental dos trabalhadores de enfermagem. A revisão foi realizada por dois pesquisadores independentes. Os artigos selecionados foram pesquisados na base de dados da PubMed/MEDLINE e, apesar da utilização de MeSH terms, optou-se pela seleção de “todos os campos” no momento da busca para ampliar o número de artigos encontrados. Foram aplicados os filtros relativos aos anos 2019 e 2020 e idiomas português, espanhol e inglês. Inicialmente foram encontrados 528 artigos, sendo selecionados 31 artigos, sendo 17 estudos oriundos de pesquisas desenvolvidas na China. As equipes de enfermagem são compostas majoritariamente por mulheres e nos estudos que tratavam dos trabalhadores de saúde, a maior parte da amostra era composta por profissionais da equipe de enfermagem. Vários estudos encontraram evidências de que a COVID-19 está causando algum grau de sofrimento mental em equipes de saúde e enfermagem. Neste novo contexto de pandemia, as equipes de enfermagem enfrentam diariamente situações que impactam diretamente na sua saúde mental. Neste sentido, torna-se imprescindível apropriar-se do conhecimento científico produzido como meio de reconstruir novos processos de trabalho em enfermagem e saúde.
