The main objective of this study is to analyze the presence of mathematics in vegetable cultivation techniques within the Sucupira community. This paper analyzes vegetable farming practices carried out by Youth and Adult Education (EJA) students and farmers in the rural area of Abaetetuba-PA, identifying the mathematical knowledge intrinsic to their daily routines. Considering that local family farming production is grounded in generational knowledge, such practices highlight the informal mathematics present within cultural groups. The research adopts a strategy of verifying mathematical notions at each stage of garden construction, where management involves proportions, units, and calculations for seed dimensioning, row spacing, fertilizer dosage, and planting depth. Although this knowledge is applied implicitly and empirically, the systematization of these practices can enhance productive processes. The methodology consists of field research with data collection at the Manoel Paulino de Souza Rural Family House of Abaetetuba, complemented by interviews with these students and local farmers, aiming to correlate planting techniques with the mathematical fundamentals present in the garden beds.
