El impacto de la enfermedad celíaca en el proceso gestacional

Resumen

Este artículo tiene como objetivo examinar cómo la enfermedad celíaca afecta a las mujeres en edad fértil, incluyendo aquellos grávidas o tentando engravidar, con focos en riesgos obstétricos, deficiencias nutricionales y abordajes de manejo. Una revisión bibliográfica descriptiva, basada en artículos publicados entre 2015 y 2025 según las bases PubMed, SciELO, LILACS y Cochrane Library. Foram used os descripciones “doença celíaca”, “gestação” e “dieta sem glúten” para identificar trabajos relevantes. Los resultados indican que una mujer celíaca no tratada está asociada a infertilidad, abortos espontáneos, parto prematuro y bajo peso al nacer. Además, se observan deficiencias nutricionales significativas, como anemia ferropriva, hipocalcemia y niveles insuficientes de vitamina D. Un análisis demuestra que el exceso de dieta sin gluten reduce significativamente las complicaciones maternas y fetales, mejorando los parámetros nutricionales y los trastornos obstétricos. Concluyendo que el diagnóstico precoce, aliado del acompañamiento multidisciplinar y de la educación nutricional, es crucial para minimizar los riesgos y promover la gestación saludable en pacientes celíacos. Destaca-se a necessidade de protocolos clínicos padronizados y apoyo psicossocial durante el prenatal, bem como nuevas pesquisas para otimizar as diretrizes de manejo.
