Comparación de los resultados de embarazo en transferencias de blastocistos únicos vitrificados-descongelados en el día 5 frente al día 6, sin pruebas genéticas preimplantacionales

Resumen

Este estudio tuvo como objetivo evaluar si los resultados de embarazo difieren entre transferencias de blastocistos únicos vitrificados-descongelados en los días 5 y 6 en ciclos de terapia hormonal sin pruebas genéticas preimplantacionales (PGT). Se realizó un estudio de cohorte retrospectivo entre 2022 y 2023 con 108 transferencias, 64 en el día 5 y 44 en el día 6. Las participantes fueron mujeres menores de 42 años sometidas a inyección intracitoplasmática de espermatozoides (ICSI), excluyendo ciclos con donación de óvulos, transferencias múltiples, preparación endometrial natural o PGT. No se observaron diferencias significativas en tasas de embarazo (44% vs. 45%, p = 1), embarazo clínico (41% vs. 41%, p = 1), nacimientos vivos (39% vs. 34%, p = 0.687) o aborto (11% vs. 25%, p = 0.267). Los resultados sugieren que los blastocistos del día 6 en ciclos sin PGT y con preparación endometrial controlada tienen resultados clínicos similares a los del día 5, lo que brinda tranquilidad a clínicas y pacientes.
