Entre telas e diagnósticos: A comunicação de más notícias aos pacientes oncológicos na telemedicina

Esta revisão teve como objetivo avaliar e mostrar as repercussões da telemedicina para a comunicação de más notícias, sobretudo, para com pacientes oncológicos. Trata-se de uma revisão de literatura narrativa, na qual foram selecionados 21 artigos para composição, sendo encontrados nas bases de dados BVS e PubMed. Os resultados do trabalho mostraram que o uso da telemedicina para comunicação de más notícias em contextos oncológicos apresentou diversas repercussões no atendimento e na relação médico-paciente, nas quais foram destacadas limitações, como dificuldades no acolhimento e falhas na conexão, bem como benefícios, como presença multiprofissional e redução da barreira geográfica. Por conseguinte, esse recurso tem sido bastante aplicado na atualidade, tendo várias adaptações, como melhorias dos protocolos de comunicação. Portanto, foi inferido que a comunicação remota, apesar de ainda possuir desafios, é uma ferramenta com grande vantagem na área oncológica. Desse modo, nota-se que a associação entre o modelo presencial e o virtual, além da melhora do preparo de profissionais e do aperfeiçoamento dos protocolos, podem manter a qualidade e a humanização do cuidado.
