O papel do exercício resistido na melhoria da mobilidade em pacientes com Doenças Crônicas Não Transmissíveis (DCNTS)

Introdução: As Doenças Crônicas Não Transmissíveis (DCNTs), como doenças cardiovasculares, câncer, diabetes e problemas respiratórios crônicos, representam uma das maiores causas de doenças e mortes ao redor do mundo. Objetivo: identificar como o exercício resistido pode contribuir para a melhoria da mobilidade de pacientes com doenças crônicas não transmissíveis (DCNTs), e o seu impacto na qualidade de vida. Metodologia: estudo misto descritivo de revisão integrativa da literatura, com abordagem quali-quantitativa. A coleta de dados foi realizada em bases de dados acadêmicas, como PubMed, SciELO, Google Scholar e Web of Science, selecionando 15 artigos publicados nos últimos 10 anos (2015 a 2025), em português e inglês. Resultados: Os resultados demonstraram que o treinamento resistido promoveu ganhos expressivos de força muscular (18-28%), melhora da mobilidade funcional (12-20%), redução de sintomas associados às DCNTs (9-15%) e incremento significativo na qualidade de vida (15-20%). Conclusão: Diante desses resultados, recomenda-se que programas de promoção da saúde voltados a populações com DCNTs incorporem rotinas regulares de treinamento resistido, adaptadas às necessidades individuais e associadas, sempre que possível, a exercícios aeróbicos e estratégias de educação em saúde.
