The general objective is to investigate the importance of communication accessibility for Deaf people within the wine sector, analyzing the impact of Brazilian Sign Language (Libras) on the experience of tasting, learning, consumption, and wine tourism. Although the world of wine is rich in sensory experiences, it presents communication barriers that exclude the Deaf community. This research, exploratory and descriptive in nature, is based on a narrative review of accessibility and enology. The central hypothesis is that implementing inclusive strategies, such as Libras training and accessible materials, can transform this scenario, providing an enriching experience for the Deaf community. It is concluded that the integration of Sign Language is an ethical and social imperative that promotes a more diverse environment. Adopting solutions such as menus with accessible QR Codes and staff training can not only democratize access but also represent a competitive advantage, expanding the consumer market.
