Methods: documentary and descriptive study using hemerographic bases, with analysis with IRAMUTEQ® software. Results: the searches were carried out in informational resources in a systematic way, using the PICo strategy and according to the PRISMA protocol, 54 news were found that after in-depth reading and selection following pre-defined criteria, 9 news were obtained that met the research focus. The analyzes generated 6 word classes; In this article, only 4 were discussed. In the discussion, information was obtained about the social impacts faced by Floriculturists, as well as actions to resume the economy and impact reduction campaigns resulting from COVID-19 control strategies. Conclusions: It is concluded that the pandemic can generate or aggravate situations of stress, depression and anguish, being potentiated by social isolation, impoverishing society and affecting individual and collective well-being, however actions focused on reducing the consequences can generate good results and increase the resilience of this population.
