Abstract

The Covid-19 pandemic has brought rapid changes to human behavior on a global scale, affecting in particular the level of physical activity and impacting physical and mental health. The objective of the present study was to verify the influence of the pandemic on the practice or adherence to physical exercise for active and sedentary people during the period of the pandemic. A systematic literature review was carried out. The databases consulted were: VHL, PUBMED SCIENCE DIRECT in the time frame between 2017 and 2022. When analyzing the results found, a decline in physical activity and/or in the attempt to adhere to this practice by active and sedentary people was observed, pre-existing situation and quite accentuated during the Covid-19 pandemic.
