In 2020, the world was affected by the COVID-19 pandemic known as severe acute respiratory syndrome. However, there is a perception that the manifestations of COVID go far beyond the lungs, such as the nervous system and dermatological problems. Among the dermatological sequelae of the disease, it appears that there is a hair loss described in the literature. The purpose of this article is to look for a relationship between hair loss and COVID-19. The telogen effluvium sequel to COVID-19 occurs even after the patient has recovered. With regard to treatments, we considered the search terms of other articles, studies show that in addition to primary treatments such as reducing stress or triggering event, there are also several aesthetic treatments. Such as mesotherapy (intradermotherapy) which consists of applications of pharmacological substances. Microneedling associated with the use of drug delivery is a technique that involves a roller with microneedles that cause small microperforations that cross the stratum corneum, facilitating the penetration of the active ingredients. Carboxytherapy consists of the use of medicinal carbonic gas, where subcutaneous application occurs using a device with a very fine needle. The laser consists of using a device with a beam of light that will be launched into the hair bulb, for the treatment of alopecia. Therefore, all these treatment factors are of paramount importance to obtain control of hair loss after COVID-19, and the best thing to do is to seek a professional so that the treatment is more assertive and individual.
