Introduction: Cervical cancer (CC) is a type of malignant neoplasm caused by HPVs (human papillomavirus). Faced with the problem of CC and its high endemicity in the North of Brazil, it is important to better understand recent epidemiological data on this population in that region. Objectives: To evaluate the frequency, treatment and staging of cervical cancer cases in the northern region of Brazil from 2017 to 2021. Methodology: This is a descriptive epidemiological study. Individuals diagnosed with malignant neoplasm of the cervix between the years 2017 and 2021 were included in the analyses. Data collection was performed using the DataSUS platform. Microsoft Excel 2019 software was used to analyze the variables of interest. Results: According to our analyses, we observed that the state of Pará was the region with the highest number of CC cases. Furthermore, the age group of 35-44 years was the most reported in the studied population (28.32% of cases). Regarding treatment and staging, it was found that the women included in our analysis were mostly treated with radiotherapy (42.06% of cases) and classified in stage 2 (31.39%). Conclusion: Finally, we found that in the northern region of Brazil, there was a high frequency of CC in women aged 35-44, mainly cases reported in the state of Pará. We also observed differences in the treatment of this population, according to the region of notification.
