Adolescence is a critical period of development, with physical, psychosocial and emotional repercussions. Health promotion actions with adolescents, due to the various legislative, financial and social barriers faced by them in accessing information and health care, require different perspectives to be effective, including that of Occupational Therapy. This study aims to describe the production of knowledge about the actions of Occupational Therapy in promoting health with adolescents. A scoping review was carried out according to the 8 steps established by the Joanna Briggs Institute. Data were collected in databases and in specific national and international Occupational Therapy journals, including articles published from 1986 onwards, which addressed occupational therapy interventions in health promotion with adolescents, without language or context restrictions. The search resulted in 2563 occurrences, with 24 articles included after applying the inclusion criteria. A greater frequency of articles was identified that address working with adolescents in the school context, in a group manner, aimed at promoting Mental Health and using playful strategies. The construction of knowledge that mobilizes changes in perspectives or the adoption of healthy habits and the development of socio-emotional and cognitive skills stands out as a result of the actions. The data reveal the potential of Occupational Therapy and the need to expand studies and research in the field under discussion.
