Data collection was carried out between February and July 2022, and inclusion and exclusion criteria were applied to select the study closely related to the topic. Articles were searched using the terms: psychotropics, Covid-19 pandemic, SARS-CoV-2, social distancing, and benzodiazepines. Result: Eight (08) articles were included, which after analysis it was possible to identify that with social distancing there was an increase in mental illnesses, such as anxiety and depression and with that an increase in the consumption of psychotropics, it was also possible to verify the most dispensed medications. Regarding the consumption of psychotropic drugs, it can be seen that benzodiazepines and selective serotonin reuptake inhibitors had a higher occurrence of use, with a high emphasis on clanazepam, sertraline and amitriptyline.
