Land use has a profound impact on the soil and inappropriate use is responsible for degradation, one of the alternatives for containment is management practices, which are necessary to sustain cultures, conserving or improving soil quality. Aggregate stability is an important physical attribute for the study of soil physical quality, which is affected by the development of agricultural systems, aiming at an efficient alternative to improve aggregate stability. aggregate stability characteristics, in relation to weighted average diameter, DMP, geometric mean diameter, DMG, and aggregate stability index, IEA. The experiment was implemented in Campo Novo do Parecis, Mato Grosso, Brazil, in a dystrophic red oxisol, where the experimental design used was in randomized blocks, DBC (4X8), implanted in February 2020, with corn harvest and plant desiccation coverage in June 2020 and the collection of soil samples in November 2020, with the evaluated managements: treatment 1, T1- single corn with conventional fertilization; treatment 2, T2 – single maize with only organic fertilizer; treatment 3, T3- corn with organomineral fertilization; treatment 4, T4- corn with biochar; treatment 5, T5- mix of cover crops (crotalaria spectabilis+forage radish+brachiaria ruziziensis); treatment 6, T6- maize intercropped with brachiaria ruziziensis; treatment 7, T7- maize intercropped with crotalaria breviflora; treatment 8, T8- mix of cover crops + biochar. The results showed that there was no significant difference between the treatments in relation to the values of DMP, DMG and IEA, due to the inefficiency of the treatments in changing these variables, due to the short interaction time for changes in physical properties, requiring a longer period.
