Prevalence of dermatological manifestations associated with COVID-19

The Organização Mundial da Saúde (WHO) is a group of β-coronaviruses responsible for a new type of COVID-19 pneumonia. A doença had various clinical presentations and very unspecific characteristics; Within the early symptoms: breathing difficulties, dormancy, difficulty failing, hemoptise, dyspnea, acute cardiac injuries. The SARS-CoV-2 virus has a great tropism for the lower airways, especially, or spectrum of clinical manifestations with respiratory injuries also reaching other organs. Otherwise, the skin manifestations may be related to the immunity of the patient or the present study item by objective to determine, from an integrative review of the literature, the prevalence of dermatological conditions in patients affected by COVID-19. This is an integrative review of literature with research on electronic databases Medical Publications (PubMed), Latin American and Caribbean Literature in Health Sciences (LILACS), Scientific Electronic Library Online (SciELO) and Google Academic, such as Describers associated in English: Dermatological manifestations and COVID-19. After an analysis, it was found the prevalence of dermatological manifestations of the pruritic skin rash type in 36% two studies. It was concluded that there is a high prevalence of cases of dermatological alterations associated with patients with COVID-19 and health professionals who are in the front line against or coronavirus.
