This work aimed to carry out an integrative review of the literature in relation to pathological and radiological manifestations about COVID-19 infection, in order to provide greater knowledge about the new coronavirus. Regarding the methods, as it is an integrative literature review, through a descriptive study, databases such as SCIELO, Virtual Health Library (BVS) and PubMed were used, using descriptors in the search for articles. Also, as a result, a general review was obtained in relation to SARS-CoV-2 (Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome Coronavirus 2), a virus transmitted by respiratory droplets, whose symptoms resemble a flu syndrome. In addition, it has the ability to trigger systemic changes, and can be diagnosed by laboratory and imaging tests. In conclusion, we reiterate the importance of preventive measures to reduce the transmissibility of COVID-19, as well as knowledge of the clinical manifestations associated with infection by the coronavirus.
