Objectives: to analyze studies that show the role of nurses in relation to the care of women with cancer during pregnancy and how the nursing process is applied in these cases. Method: This is a systematic review carried out in the BVS and PUBMED databases. The following inclusion criteria were evaluated: articles from the last 10 years that were full and free texts, in Portuguese, English and Spanish. As exclusion criteria, it was defined as: unrelated to the theme, published before the proposed 10 years, paid studies carried out on animals. Results and discussion: focused on the types of methodology used, year of publication, journal, authors, study location and the most cited professionals as data taken from the articles. It was commented on the most common neoplasm in pregnant women, the role of nurses during chemotherapy treatment and the application of the nursing process during the care of women with cancer during pregnancy. Conclusion: Few recurrent cases in relation to the number of pregnant women with cancer and also about the role of nurses during this difficult period for women. The nursing process was cited only in one survey and was exemplified in the text. Thus, there is a need for studies that address more of this issue within nursing.
