Reporte de caso de una intervención conductual para la adherencia al corte de cabello en niños con Trastorno del Espectro Autista

Resumen

Las personas con trastorno del espectro autista (TEA) presentan conductas inapropiadas con una mayor prevalencia que la población general y estas conductas ocurren en varios contextos, incluyendo durante las rutinas de salud y higiene personal. El objetivo de este informe de serie de casos fue presentar los resultados de un intervención con el objetivo de aumentar la tolerancia de niños diagnosticados con TEA para cortar el pelo. Se utilizó un procedimiento sistemático de sensibilización y refuerzo diferencial. La intervención adoptada fue efectiva para establecer el comportamiento de adherencia al corte de pelo para ambos participantes. El informe contribuye a la literatura transponiendo resultados derivados de la investigación aplicada a la prestación de servicios en análisis de conducta aplicados al TEA en el uso de procedimientos menos invasivos para aumentar la adherencia a las actividades diarias de higiene personal.
