Influencia de la pandemia en la práctica de ejercicios físicos y sus consecuencias para el público mayor: una revisión de la literatura sistemática

Resumen

Objetivos: visualizar los impactos delaislamiento social enlapráctica de actividades físicas y sus consecuencias para el público de edadavanzada, así como identificar posibles alternativas para lapráctica durante elaislamiento y formas de asistencia para reducireldaño. Metodología: Esta es una revisión sistemática que utiliza las bases de datos SciELO, Medline, Lilacs y PUBMED. Para componerelespaciomuestral solo se utilizarontrabajos publicados desde elaño 2010. Después de eliminar lasduplicaciones, aplicar loscriterios de inclusión y exclusión y leer para descartar trabajos no relacionados conel tema de investigación, quedaron 15 artículos. Resultados: El análisis de lostrabajosseleccionadossugiere que elaislamiento social puede causar daños, como aumentar laprobabilidad de aparición de enfermedades, especialmente las relacionadas conlos sistemas cardíaco y psicológico. Se observaronposiblesherramientasenla literatura para combatireldaño causado, como laorientación de actividades por conferencia, el estímulo de familiares y amigos para practicaractividades físicas y de ocio y eldesarrollo de programas públicos destinados a estimular lasocialización. del público de edadavanzada. Conclusión:elaislamiento social aumenta laposibilidad de aparición o empeoramiento de lossíntomas relacionados conladepresión o lascardiomiopatías. En este sentido, es importante que elgobierno implemente programas dirigidos a lasocialización, como proyectos de visitas domiciliarias y alentar laactividad física enelhogar, guiando a losmiembros de lafamilia a acompañar a losancianosenactividades de ejercicio y tiempo libre.
