Análisis inmunohistoquímico e histomorfométrico del endometrio de ratas en celo permanente tratadas con melatonina, metformina y citrato de clomifeno

Resumen

Objetivo: Evaluar los efectos de la melatonina, metformina y citrato de clomifeno en el endometrio de ratas modelo con síndrome de ovario poliquístico. Métodos: Setenta y ocho ratas se dividieron en 13 grupos y dos experimentos (prevención y tratamiento). Después de la exposición, todos los animales fueron anestesiados y los cuernos uterinos fueron removidos y sometidos a tinción con hematoxilina y eosina e inmunohistoquímica (Ki-67 y Vegf). Los datos obtenidos se sometieron a la prueba de la t de Student (p<0,05). Resultados/Conclusión: La melatonina, la metformina y el citrato de clomifeno no promueven efectos proliferativos y angiogénicos sobre el endometrio de ratas en celo permanente, sin embargo, la melatonina tiene un efecto trófico más significativo sobre el estroma endometrial, que no interfiere con su espesor, mientras que la metformina tuvo un efecto trófico más significativo sobre el epitelio glandular endometrial, por lo tanto, estos efectos son similares tanto antes como después de la inducción del SOP por exposición continua a la luz.
