Consideraciones clínicas de los ligamentos de retención de la cara: una revisión

Resumen

Con el avance de las técnicas y tecnologías utilizadas en los procedimientos destinados al rejuvenecimiento, varias estructuras de la cara merecen lograr el éxito clínico, entre ellos, los ligamentos de la cara (LRF). Se sabe que las características clásicas de la cara envejecida implican, sobre todo, en el LRF, ya que la estrecha relación de los ligamentos con la piel, pueden modificarse a partir de cambios estructurales y, en consecuencia, funcionales. En este sentido, la comprensión del LRF debe ser considerada por el profesional como objetivos de la acción clínica, como una forma de aumentar la eficacia, la naturalidad de los resultados y la satisfacción del paciente. Para comprender la importancia clínica de los ligamentos de retención de la cara, se utilizaron 29 artículos en esta investigación como una forma de revisión literaria. Según los resultados encontrados, la comprensión de las modificaciones fisiológicas a lo largo del tiempo y sus repercusiones clínicas demuestran que los ligamentos de retención de la cara son de importancia fundamental para la toma de decisiones y protocolos que se adoptarán en los procedimientos de rejuvenecimiento.
