Baño del recién nacido: estudio bibliométrico

Resumen

Objetivo: describir los indicadores bibliométricos de la producción científica nacional e internacional sobre recién nacidos a término y su evolución histórica en las últimas seis décadas. Método: estudio bibliométrico, utilizando las leyes de Lotka, Bradford y Zipf. La encuesta bibliográfica se realizó en diciembre de 2020 y se incluyeron estudios que abordaron el tema del baño en recién nacidos a término publicados entre 1970 y 2020. Resultados: la muestra estuvo conformada por 83 publicaciones con predominio de estudios realizados en Norteamérica en idioma inglés y los tipos de estudios más frecuentes fueron los controlados aleatorizados. Los artículos fueron escritos por 367 autores diferentes, identificados en 44 revistas. Principales palabras clave encontradas: recién nacido, baño y cuidado de la piel. Conclusión: esta investigación permitió describir los cambios y vacíos de este escenario en los contextos nacionales e internacionales y alentar producciones con un alto nivel de evidencia.
