Un protocolo de revisión del alcance para mapear los cambios funcionales y estructurales del cerebro en las personas mayores con fragilidad

Resumen

El objetivo será mapear la literatura científica disponible sobre cambios y/o daños estructurales cerebrales en personas mayores frágiles. La literatura publicada en inglés, portugués o español se buscará en las bases de datos PubMed, PubMed PMC, BVS – BIREME, Embase, SCOPUS, Cochrane, Web of Science, Proquest, PsycInfo EBSCOHOST y Ageline. Dos autores revisarán el título, el resumen y los textos completos para su elegibilidad. Las recomendaciones PRISMA se utilizarán para extraer datos de los estudios revisados, de acuerdo con los siguientes criterios: estudios que involucran ancianos frágiles (edad ≥ 60 años); literatura que informa cambios cerebrales estructurales y funcionales en exámenes de neuroimagen; estudios realizados en clínicas y en la comunidad; estudios primarios; estudios publicados en inglés, portugués o español. Los datos extraídos serán tabulados, junto con un resumen narrativo.
