Rehabilitación de la persona mayor en el síndrome post-covid-19: protocolo de una revisión de alcance

Resumen

Objetivo: analizar la evidencia científica disponible sobre el papel de la rehabilitación en el anciano con síndrome postcovid-19. Métodos: Se considerará la literatura indexada, publicada en inglés, español y portugués, y extraída de diez bases de datos diferentes, hasta el mes de Abril/2022. Dos autores comprobarán de forma independiente los títulos, resúmenes y textos completos de acuerdo con los criterios de elegibilidad, y las divergencias serán resueltas por un tercer revisor. En esta revisión, se considerarán los estudios con diferentes diseños que incluyen a personas mayores con síndrome postcovid-19 en el contexto de la rehabilitación. Se utilizará un formulario personalizado para extraer los datos de los estudios incluidos. Los resultados se presentarán en forma de tabla y se acompañarán de un resumen narrativo. Resultados esperados y relevancia del estudio: a partir de la encuesta científica a ser realizada, se espera contribuir a una mejor comprensión del síndrome postcovíd-19 en los ancianos y del papel de la rehabilitación en el manejo de esta condición.
