Enfoque fisioterapéutico del Trastorno por Déficit de Atención e Hiperactividad (TDAH)

Resumen

La fisioterapia es una de las áreas que puede actuar en el proceso de diagnóstico y seguimiento del Trastorno por Déficit de Atención e Hiperactividad (TDAH). En este sentido, el objetivo era trazar una panorámica de los estudios y el desarrollo de tecnologías sobre el tema, así como de los enfoques fisioterapéuticos ya registrados en las bases de datos. La búsqueda se realizó de enero a julio de 2022, los descriptores utilizados fueron "ADHD AND Physiotherapy" realizándose en el banco de patentes de la Organización Mundial de la Propiedad Intelectual (OMPI) y artículos y resúmenes: Scopus Web of Science, PubMed, The Lens y ScienceDirect. Utilizando las bases de datos de artículos Scopus Web of Science, PubMed, The Lens y ScienceDirect y con los descriptores "ADHD AND Physiotherapy". Se concluye que la actuación de la fisioterapia en el desarrollo y acompañamiento de las personas con TDAH, desde el diagnóstico, con ejercicios y actividades que ayuden al progreso motriz, neurológico y cognitivo, es relevante para la promoción de la salud y la calidad de vida de estos pacientes.
