Resumen

El objetivo de este estudio es “Posibilidades de uso de Passiflora desde el punto de vista fitoquímico y farmacológico”. Realizar investigaciones históricas sobre el uso de esta especie vegetal, investigar y describir los propósitos e indicaciones de su uso como farmacoterapia, y orientar sobre las posibles consecuencias asociadas a su uso o mal uso, teniendo en cuenta los efectos adversos y toxicológicos reportados. efectos. Entre estas propiedades y usos se encuentran efectos ansiolíticos, sedantes y antiespasmódicos, sus efectos se obtuvieron a través del extracto de metabolitos secundarios que se encuentran en diferentes partes de la planta como raíces, corteza, tallo, hojas y flores. La investigación aquí presentada prioriza el descubrimiento de conocimientos esenciales sobre los usos de Passiflora incarnata, y asume así gran importancia y complejidad, por ser una especie de Passiflora que no se cultiva en Brasil y tiene un amplio espectro de actividad farmacológica.
